Romanian Weekend in Washington

One of the events dedicated to the Romanian community, but also to the Americans who feel close to Romania or want to discover it, is the first Romanian weekend organized in Washington, D.C., on July 9-10, 2022. A series of activities were organized on The Wharf esplanade, on the banks of the Potomac River, including dance performances and live concerts, demonstrations of traditional crafts, interactive workshops, public readings, touristic presentations, exhibitions and foods and oenological tastings.
